We planted this food plot twice this year to get it right. We videoed this buck the week before and knew this one was a shooter. Opening morning Nov 2nd 2019 of muzzle loading we didn't even hunt this farm since I knew this was a great afternoon spot but not so much in the mornings. That morning we hunted Ansonville and seen 35 deer and Tucker passed up a nice 19'-20' wide 9pt but knew where we were hunting in the evening. As we settled in for our afternoon hunt in Stanly Co on a tract of land that we own and have hunted for many years, it wasn't long til the big guy showed up at 400 yards away. It took 1.5 hours for him to make it into muzzle loader range. I did not want Tucker to shoot the deer lined up with my feeder and potentially shoot the feeder but as I was running the camera I finally told Tucker please just shoot the deer we can fix the feeder we are running out of videoing light. The rest is history, Tucker is 10-years old and got his first Muzzle loader harvest and biggest deer yet.
