Hi, I'm Kimberly and on the evening of November 1, 2019 my fiance and I hunted a field on our farm in Timberlake, NC in Person county, where we began to watch many deer emerge from a wooded area into a cut corn field. I was in a tree stand while my fiance sat in a hedge row to my left watching deer. We observed 9 does, a small four point buck, and a ten point buck (approximately 200 yards away) in the field. While watching this, an eight point buck steps out in front of my stand. My fiance uses his grunt call to capture the buck's attention enabling me to capitalize on the broadside stance giving me a clear shot with the center point sniper 370 crossbow at 40 yards away. I haven't hunted in 14 years and never killed a buck this big! Also, until now, I had never killed a deer with a bow. I'm so thankful for this amazing experience!
