My son has been going hunting with me for several years and carrying a gun under my supervision since last year. He didn't have the opportunity to shoot a deer in 2013, but 2014 proved to be a better year. Friday evening after Thanksgiving we were in a 2 person ladder stand on his Grandfather's property. Two deer came out right at sundown and well within range of his 20 gauge 870. I told him to put the bead on the closest one's head and pull the trigger. Lo and behold they happend to nuzzle one another at the instant he shot and they both fell dead. I'm not sure who was more dumbfounded, him or me. In my 35 years of hunting I've never seen nor heard of such a thing happening. Congratulations buddy!
