My son Jackson and nephew Caiden ended the season, on a federal youth hunt with a bang! Took them less than 45min to pile these upÂ…wow! Unbelievable Â… looked like pros at work!

February 2, 2013Â…I took my son Jackson and nephew Caiden on a federal youth hunt, and boy did they pile them up fast Â…within 45 minutes the boys had their limit of ducks with shells to spare! What an exciting memorable day!

I Shot this 9pt buck at 720 am 10/26/2012 in Chester County,SC approx forty yards from stand. It was still kinda dark when I saw him standing there, I scoped him and knew right off he was a nice one. I shot, he bowed up and ran never heard him crashing through the woods. I sat for a solid hour longer, then I went back to truck to kill some more time, came back to stand walked over to where I shot and found nice blood trail. He ran for well over a hundred yards and well the rest still has me in shock when I walked up, OMG..I had no idea he was this big. Its was the deer I have seen on trail camera a couple of times. Guy from neighboring club has the whole history so to speak on this buck, everything from sheds to video/pictures, he says this deer is approx 9 yrs old. He won a trail-cam contest with this deer back in 2009. He weighed 170 lbs on the button, has 21 in inside spread and scores approx 140 in.
