This 9-point buck eased down a drainage ditch to the woods making the lethal mistake of entering the open field just at sunset. The hunter was 'happier than a room without a roof.' A nice buck to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day! Taken on November 28, 2019 by J O Teel, Greenville, NC in Pitt County NC.
This buck was headed to the pond for a soothing drink of water. Instead of a drink of water, he made a final big splash as he tumbled into the pond after being taken with a Remington 270.
Happy, Happy, Happy Hunter harvested this nice buck 'in them old cotton fields back home' on private land in Pitt County! While cotton fields can put you to the test when hunting, persistence and a lot of patience paid off in bagging this nice 8-point buck on November 29th. This proves that while food plots are nice--they are not necessary!! Thankful for this nice buck and meat for the freezer.
This nice 9-point buck was taken within a week of harvesting a 10-point buck. What a nice season it has been!
Nice 10-point buck taken in Roanoke River

Nailed this 9-point buck deep in the Lower Roanoke River area while he was in hot pursuit of a doe on November 1st.
