152' buck - lucky to have the memory of being with my son when he shot his largest buck to date.

Killed December 15, 2016 near Farmville.

Climbed in my stand in Pitt Co. on Dec. 20th to do a little Bear Hunting. One hour later, he walked out and I quickly forgot about the Bear Hunting.

My 9 y.o. son, Tanner, killed his largest buck to date Nov. 6 in Farmville. We arrived in ground blind at 4:00, knowing the rut should be near I used a bleat can call every 25-30 min. along with grunts. Deer activity was slow and my son getting impatient. Then out of nowhere the buck steps into the lane steadily walking out of site. As I gave Tanner his 7 mm-08 I had to stop this buck for a shot. One grunt stopped the buck but not long enough for a shot. As the buck reached the other side of lane just before getting away Tanner lays the 140 gr pellet to the right shoulder, dropping his buck. What an awesome hunt.

I killed this bear last Friday in Pitt Co. Weighed approx. 235#. This was my first bear and got to take it with my son and hunting buddy, Tanner.

My 8 yr old son, Tanner, killed his first buck Saturday in Pitt County with a .22 Hornet. Tanner and Dad were hunting in ground blind when the 4 pt came to a grunt call. Tanner downed the buck at 95 yards one shot. He was one happy hunter, and now looking one bigger.

Just to verify you can legally bow hunt on Sunday this year?

Son killed his first deer last Monday. One shot with 22 hornet, no tracking involved. He and his dad were hysterical. Great memories!!
