Amanda Graves took this 149' 10ptr Monday afternoon at 4:40 pm. She made a incredible shot at 260yds with the buck only going 15-20yds before pileling up.

On the afternoon of sept 16 I climbed into a double set I have hung looking over a food plot that could only be hunted on a SE wind. I have been running cameras all yr and had been seeing a wide 8 on cam. Well about 5pm the Bucks started pouring out into the plot. At one time I had 13 bucks within 25yds of me. During this time I'm self filming my hunt. About 7 pm I hear bucks fighting down below me in the creek bottom. As I'm looking to see if I could see what deer where down there I'm startled by movement on my left. I thought this was the deer I was after. By this time it was about 7:30 and I was losing light so I grabbed my bow got the camera on him and made a 17yd shot. He ran about 15-20yds and piled up. To my surprise after getting down and looking at the deer it was not the 8 I was after. Instead it was a 2.5-3.5 yr old 8. So I felt bad for shooting a young deer but also thank the lord for a good hunt. It's still one of my best hunts ever and got it all on video.

Ole man 7 took his last walk on the farm tonight. Missed him on video and tonight he stepped back out in the same food plot. 2014 will be a hard one to beat. Tagged out with my bow. Now just going to video and maybe knock a few doe's down.

My son loves to help with everything there is about deer hunting, from food plots , checking cameras to gettn on a blood trail. He's only 4 yrs old and asks everyday dad to u post my pic yet so guys not tryn to fill up the web site with my bow kill but he is so proud of him holding the deer by himself this yr so I thought I would let him finally see himself on here holding my buck!!

Shot this nice 8ptr on wed afternoon at 20 yds. Just as I was about to get out of tree due to a bad storm I looked over my shoulder and here came a group of doe's. So took my backpack off and pulled up my bow knocked a arrow and shot here at 20 yds she piled up about 25 yds later. Then looking to my right I seem antlers coming up from the bottom heading towards food plot. Well after about 15 mins he gave me a 20yd quartering away shot that put him down within 60 yds. So in the end just glad I stuck the storm out.

Got a management buck.

Been after this guy for 3 weeks. He had a broke right foot and no testicles. so he was shot for management buck. But hes still a trophy in my book. Been seeing alot of nice bucks just alittle on the young side for me. Shot this deer at 25 yds and found him piled up 40yds away. And he made some great jerky!!!!!

Going after this guy in the am!!!!!! Please move tomorrow....

It is a pic of a dee in 2012, that my cuz was going to shoot cause he thought he would never be anything. Well by the looks of it I'm glad he didn't take him. Cause at 2013 he a trophy in my book. Just wanted to share.

Well on the 9th of sept my father inlaw shot his first velvet deer with a compound. We were sittn in a ground blind over looking a 2ac clover plot when right at dark this deer walked within 30 yds. He let the Goldtip fly with a rage chisel tip extreme. It hit alittle high but that extreme put one heck of a hole. 100yds later he's sittn behind it. I was sittn next to him as all this went down and I must say I was just excited as he was. So again congrats a hope to do it again.

I'm looking for some reviews or thoughts on crossbows. My father has been disabled since early 90s and now he wants to get out and try some hunting with me. But he can't pull a compound bow. I know nothing about crossbows so thought I would ask some of you who shoots them. What's a good one? I'm looking to spend about $1000. So any help would be great. Thanks in advance. Jason.
