    I'm fairly new to the state...I've heard that when rifle hunting deer, (Wayne county mostly) that I have to be 10' above ground.

    I have not seen this written, and didn't find it on a quick web search...anybody have an answer about this.

    Brooklyn hux of Orange County North Carolina dropped her first big buck around 4:00 yesterday evening. The buck was walking the wood line and checking scrapes when she shot him about 200 yards away.

    Something to be thankful for. My 13 year old Daughter Haley was blessed to take her first buck on Nov 25, 2017 while hunting with my husband. The buck is an 8 pt 17.5 inches wide. She couldn't be more excited and me and my husband couldn't be more proud.
