    I caught this Longnose Gar in Wylie this past Sat night 9/7/19 on a white Shad. I was out night fishing alone and did not have a way to weigh it but definitely glad I was able to land it and get some photos. I think I would have had a shot at the state record. What do you think?

    BOY OH BOY! Is this lake whoopin my ass! It's a warm water power plant lake and the fish get everthing in the world thrown at them. Water is ULTRA clear - I need some GOOD baits and GOOD colors to use. Ideas?? Maybe you've fished the lake and had good luck.

    Bryan Buckner of Saluda was surprised to reel in this chain pickerel on his catfish rig baited with cut perch Monday Oct. 16 under the Hwy 26 bridge on Lake Hartwell. He also caught a nice mess of crappie fishing with 'Six Rods Down' guide service.

    Ethan Pawelczyk, 7, caught this 33-inch, 13-pound striped bass on Kerr Lake on Sept. 11, 2016. He caught the fish on a pencil popper first thing int he morning when a school was breaking in a cove near Kerr Dam, chasing shad to the surface.

    Just one of several nice Bass caught at Lake Brandt this year. Brandt is home to 8 and 10 pounders, reports of 12 & 13's are not uncommon but this size maybe limited in quanity. Another great lake is Lake Townsend,Greensboro,N.C.

    This fall my buddies and I fished a few ponds in search of bass. Boy did we find them, most were small overall still a fun evening with the guys. Made a little video for you guys to see how it went.

    Spent the day fishing at Walters Lake.We caught 113 crappie.Kept enough of the bigger ones for supper and released the rest.All of these were caught on jigs.Had a really fun day fishing.

    Caught this 2lb-9oz Black Crappie several years ago at High Rock lake...The old Granny's Bait and Tackle had a Contest going at the time and I won $1200 late in the season with this Crappie...By far the Biggest Crappie I have ever caught.

    Thats a nice crappie.I think those black crappie are beautiful fish.I've caught some big ones at Lake James and Jordan Lake,but none that big.Have you ever fished Jordan?Its supposed to be one of the best crappie lakes around.I usually go in the spring for 3 or 4 days.

    Sorry for the poor video quality. I recorded this big cat catch on my phone and forgot to turn the phone. Either way this is one of 4 we caught about this size in the river on High Rock today, in about 3 hours time. We used live Shad to catch these. All were released.

    Mt little boy and his father Robert Hicks were fishing at the end of July and they caught this fish. They were fishing in Wendell NC and the fish weighed in at 13+ lbs. You can see by the look on my son Cameron's face, he didn't quite know what to think about the size of this one. …

    Thats a Monster Bass, Congrats...Hope it dont scare him into not wanting to fish lol. He might go the rest of his life and never see another Bass like size...Thats a fish of a lifetime...Thanks for sharing Kristy.
