    I caught a 44 inch 22 lbs. King mackeral off Holden Beach Pier on June 30th. I think it's the first king caught off the pier since hurricane Floyd broke the pier off.

    Big reds were biting Saturday at Yaupon(ar425) reef, and cigar minnows were their favorite bait. This is a 39' caught on a boxed cigar minnow. The fish was returned safely and eagerly to the water, where it swam off with great enthusiasm.
