My son shot this boar at our club in SC this morning. He had planned to hunt a ground blind over looking a corn hole, but as he slipped in just after daylight he caught this hog in the bait pile. A head shot with his 243 put the hog down in it's tracks. I'm grateful I got to watch it all…

The first hunt was towards the end of January. We had a pretty good snowfall and I wanted to get out and do some scouting. Well after walking what seemed like 5 miles I came to the…

Early spring is the time of year when PIGS come to mind. They have been eating all of the corn from the deer feeders and messing up deer hunts throughout the season. Now it is time to get them. I like the weather to be cold and the food to be scarce, because it makes them much more…

Deer season is over, but it is always hog season in South Carolina, and sportsmen and women have more options with hogs than deer. While firearms and bows are options for either animal, hog hunters can also use knives, and can also hunt at night.

Sumter's Sarah McClam and Chris Warren…

Brother I have only been here since August, but probably spent 40-50 days in the stand during deer season all over the place and have not seen a single hog. I have not seen any sign either.

What do you guys think from the picture, a hog or a stray dog? It's not uncommon for either to be on this property once in awhile.

Looking for a place to hog hunt between Leland and Whiteville. Any suggestions or anyone want to help scout out some of the game lands in that area. If anyone knows of a good club that has hogs, still hunting preferred, I would be interested in that as well.

I put a hog bomb out saterday . found the can today. dang if they didnt try to eat it to.

Chris Warren with Big Country Outfitters said harvesting hogs in the cold weather has been no problem lately, but he has had to make some adjustments in order to accommodate deer hunters and plantation owners.
