47 Boats fished the Rock Outdoors $5K Spring Bass Trail Q#1 at Shearon Harris yesterday. The weather was actually great!!! However the fishing successes were not. Only 2 fish were brought to the scales. Yeah...you heard me right!! Harris was really haveing some problems yesterday. The good part of this is that these 2 winning teams landed some big cash!!!
Richie Letendre & Brad Beaulieu had the big one, @5.43 lbs. that, just made the 20' over slot!! Richie also was fishing out of his Falcon Bass Boat he purchased at Rock Outdoors in Lexington which (pending approval) will get him a $1,000 Gift Certificate from Rock Outdoors. They won 1st Place, 1st Place Big Fish, the Rock Outdoors GC and also split the remainder of the payback (because the other teams had no fish) netting the a total of $3,652.
The 2nd Place Team of Josh Hooks & Jaime Fajardo had one
15 1/2' bass weighing just 2.14 lbs.. The 1st Place Team was not in the TWT side bet so the 2nd place team took all of that, the half of the left over payback and their regular payback for a grand total of $3,128!!!
