on Feb. 27th will be held at Shearon Harris out of Crosspoint Landing.
Same Times for Blastoff & Weighins. Call me if you have a problem

I made this decision today because Harris is in great fishable
condition. Jordan (12' high & ramps closed) will not be useable by
Sat. Feb. 27th and there is a good chance, with rain coming Mon.,
that Falls (8' high) will be flooded and unsafe also. I know some of
you will not like this move but I think it's the best and safest decision.
Another thing...I didn't want to wait till Mon. to make this decision
because this coming weekend looks great weatherwise so you will be
able to prefish for Harris if you wish. The 27th high temp looks to be
52 degrees and that will be great if it holds true. So get out and prefish
Harris and have a great weekend. If you need to change your entry
status with a refund or lake change call me and we'll do it.

ATTENTION PIEDMONT BASS CLASSICS ANGLERS!!! THE ROCK OUTDOORS Q#1 AT JORDAN LAKE, FEB. 27th HAS BEEN MOVED TO FALLS LAKE OUT OF LEDGE ROCK WILDLIFE RAMP. AND IF FALLS IS FLOODED AND THE RAMP GATES CLOSED ON THE 27th IT WILL BE HELD AT SHEARON HARRIS OUT OF CROSSPOINT LANDING WILDLIFE RAMP... and here's why:
*****The NCWRC has closed the ramp today at Farrington Point due to extreme flooding (10' above normal). The rest of the ramps on the Lake will also be closed by this afternoon. The Marina is moving out because of the flooding that is expected by Sat. morning.
*****The other factor on Jordan is that the dam has been closed for inspections, etc. and will not reopen until the end of Feb....They will be pumping some water out so as to keep the level on the lower Haw River where it is required. SO VERY LITTLE WATER IS BEING PUMPED OUT. I'm sure we cannot use Jordan at this time.
*****Falls Lake today is 7' over normal pool. We are going to get a lot of rain and ice in the next 2 days so I'm going to assume the ramps will be unusable this coming weekend. Now, if they pump out hard while this is going on, we should be able to use Falls by the 27th.
*****If not at Falls, we will be at Shearon Harris on the 27th.
This is the best I can do at this time. I'll keep an eye on things until Mon. the 22nd and update you on things. If you have already paid in full or a deposit just hold tight until I make a decision.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING THE HART'S CUSTOM SETS Q#1 SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 6th AT JORDAN!!!

I know some of you will not be fishing with us this weekend but are concerned about the $10K Q#1 scheduled for Mar. 6th at Jordan where the lake conditions at this time are horrendous!! I don't see Jordan being near opening by the 6th and I'm not going to take a chance and have to cancel. I know some of you want to pre fish this weekend so I have made the decision and obtained a permit for Kerr on the 6th out of Flemingtown Landing.

SO HERE IS THE FINAL CHANGE!!!

We will be at Shearon Harris out of Cross Point Landing this Sat. Please be there early as possible because Harris is about the only show in town. We need to get you checked in and on the water
before it gets crazy at the ramp. Don't be late...I'll be there at 5:30
to check you in. Launch your boat 1st then come to the trailer to check in.

I'm having trouble getting a straight answer from Bass Cat boats about
their contingency plan. So for the time being I'm dropping them from
the contingency program until I hear different. Rock Outdoors was
suppose to help with this, but Bass Cat is kinda weird with this plan.
At this time we will not honor the Bass Cat offer.
