Cyril Gulledge of Matthews, NC killed these two 11 point bucks the morning of Monday 11/18/19 in Union county NC. It was raining and the first buck stepped into the field at 08:15 am to run off a 6 point buck that was chasing does. I shot the 11 point buck that weighed 212 lbs and had an inside spread of 19 inches. I sat for 10 minutes and then lowered my gun to the ground. I stood up and started to go down the ladder when I noticed a large deer standing in the field 200 yards to my right. I looked through my binoculars and saw that it was a nice buck. My rifle was on the ground. I slowly began pulling it back up. It hung in a cedar tree. I pulled hard several times and the cedar tree was shaking. The deer was now looking in my direction. Finally the rifle came loose. I pulled it up and fired immediately. The second 11 point buck fell. It weighed 207 lbs and had an 18.5 inch inside spread. Both of these deer are my personal bests.
