  • Bonneau Ferry Open for Adult-Youth Fishing

    Bonneau Ferry Wildlife Management Area has opened for the 2013 fishing season. Fishing is open for adults accompanied by a youth angler and is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during daylight hours throught Oct. 30th.

    Adults are only allowed to fish if joined by a youth angler aged 17 or below. Boats with electric motors are allowed.

    Quarterman Lake, which is about 100 acres, is the largest reservoir on the property. New Lake and numerous smaller ponds are also well-stocked. Crappie, largemouth bass, and bream are the main species stocked in these waterways. The daily limit per person is 2 largemouth bass and 10 panfish (crappie, bream), and crappie must be at least 8 inches long. No other length limits apply.
