    I catch them, my buddy eats them!! I let go most of my fish. I mount the big ones. A large pond

    Nice big bass. That smaller one is about eating size. The other bigger bass are all females with eggs that will keep those big bass coming. Older bass have a higher concentration of mercury and shouldn't be eaten by pregnant women and small children. I prefer 1 1/2 to 2 pound for eaters. Great catch all the same. Post the mount when you get her mounted. Congratulations!

    I only kept the two big ones to mount. Biggest bass I ever caught!! But my buddy likes to eat the bass around 3 lbs or so. I catch throw back the other females...

    That 9 pounder will look great on the wall. Ponds are my favorite to fish and there are some nice ones all along hwy 42. In march the water temp. rises quickly in ponds producing some great bass fishing!
