Short Of Goal

Well, Fellow Sportsman, Women, And Kids. In Just A Couple Of Days Season Is Over. Hope Everyone had Fun Chasing, Small game Upland Birds, And Light Geese. As Of This Date Ive Only Bagged 117 Squirrels. Thats A Good Amount But Far Short Of My 200 Goal And Far Short From Last Year's Till, THEY Are Getting Hard To Find Locally, But There Are Still a few Here And There. Would like to hear From Others. Next is turkey!! Good Luck!!

Whether you broke last years record or not,117 squirrel is great in my book.Also you must be doing pretty well,you made it in the magazine this month,Congratulations. Gracie and I only got 7, but that was enough to get her excited about the whole idea of squirrel hunting,and she was a little disappointed that we didn't get to go any more after we lost our hunting spot during deer season. I plan to do some scouting and pleading with relatives that have land so I hope I can get us a good place to go next season. In the mean time I have been scouting some gameland. @Dianne, Thanks Yea Im Super Happy With This Entire Hunting Season, It Has Been Alot Of Fun!! It's Not About The Amount Of The Game It's The Time You Spend Pursuing Weather Alone Or With Family and or Friends. That's Great That Gracie And You Are Able To Hunt Together. Im Sure Ya'll Had Lot's Of Good Times. Sorry You Lost Your Hunting Spot!! Hopefully Ya'll Will Find Another Place To Hunt. But Gameland Isnt Bad, it's Really Good For small Game!! I Went to my Favorite Spot on Jordan today only seen one squirrel, but had 5 deer 40 Yards from me until one started stamping and blowing lol, and then they where into the wind.Next Season maybe you can head to Central n.c weve got some nice gameland and really good odds for getting at least one deer. WTG on the 117. That is impressive don't feel to bad about not making it to 200. We didn't have that good of luck on our Squirrel quest. So I am impressed... Counting down the days till Turkey season starts.

As Of This Date Ive Only Bagged 117 Squirrels!!! I agree that if I couldn't do any better than that then I would take up Golf!!! LMBO!!!! Man That's GREAT!!! You need to change your alias to the SQUIRREL WHISPERER lol..I would love a big plate of Squirrel brains and Eggs but I haven't went 1 time this year myself but yeah 117 is something to be Proud of for sure...Who knows?...1 day they might name a Squirrel call after you lol...Congrats on making the ink also.

Thanks For All The Feed Back, Ya'll, Im Glad To Be Able To Share The Fun With Everyone On Here. I Was On Facebook, but Facebook Takes to much of my time So I Closed My Account lol. The Last Couple of Weeks Hunting Jordan The squirrels Have given me a run for my Money, Ive been hunting the low lands and creek bottoms, and the squirrel ##'s are real high, but When i go Hunting The squirrels dont come out til around 6 pm not giving me much time and then when they do come out for some reason theyve been sounding the alarm call. lol They are onto me big time Plus There Sitting on Pinkies (Baby Squirrels)The last 5 hunts came home no Luck. @Viper, Thanks for Letting me Know, ive not got the march Issue Yet, should get one soon. @Gt Lol Squirrel Call named after Me, That Would be Cool, but there much better smallgame hunters then me, Good Luck Almost Turkey Time!!
