Howdy To All. Happy New year. What An Awsome Deer Season I Had!! One Nice Buck, 4 Does On Gameland And 3 More Nice Does On Private Land With Bounse Doe Tags. Thanks To All Who Gave Me Advice And Good Feed Back. Hope Everyone!! Has A Good Small Game And Waterfowl Season, Also Turkey Season And A Great Summer!! I Think Ive Got BusheyTail Fever. Game On Starting Tomorrow. Got Almost 200 Squirrels Last Year On Gameland My Goal For 2013 Is 225. Good Luck To All Be Safe And Have Fun!!

You certainly did have a great season.I would like to do a little more squirrel hunting myself.Have only got seven so far.My mom did cook us up a couple when I was down deer hunting.Those squirrel with that gravy,mashed potatoes and bisquits was a meal fit for a king,lol.
I hope you reach your goal squirrel hunting,something tells me you will.You are the best squirrel hunter I know,lol.

Thank Diane, I Dont Know About Being The Best, But I Sure Have Fun Trying. Ive Only Have 19 Down To Date, BUT fRI, I Plan On Heading Down East To Hunt Two Differnt Tracts Of Gameland That Ive got permits For, So Should Be Fun. Lol This Time Im Bringing To Big Cans Of Bear Mace, Seems Like I Always Get Up Close With The Bears While Squirrel Hunting The Coast lol. It's A Good Rush Though. GOOD Luck On The Squirrels, im sure You'll Do Well!! The Deer Population In The Mountains is nowhere near The population In Central n.c and the coast, so not seeing many Deer in wnc is common. Unless You Hunt In Ashe County.

Congrats on a GREAT season Chad! I hope you get that 225 number on squirrels. I hope to take my wife fishing more this year to the coast, as she doesn't hunt but, I am going to try to get her in a ground blind during Turkey season if her school doesn't get in the way.
