It was our 2nd day of hunting over Thanksgiving, and wasn't seeing any deer. We were hunting in a box blind and we spotted this deer coming up. She couldn't see good to shoot it and had to sit on my knee to get a better shot. It ran about 25 yards. But she regrets having ditched the camo to track the deer cause now her pink pajama pants are being shown everywhere.

Way to go for that little lady hunter! She has taken a buck that any of us would have been proud of! Many men will never even get to take a deer like that. I love to see a youngin' kill a deer. Congrats. Very nice buck and I love the p.j.'s. Makes a great memory.

Paws hunting cabin

Its about 20 mins. past West Jefferson. My dad and grandpa have had some land there for about 15 years now. Her paw paw can't believe though. He hasn't ever killed any that big.
