  • Hanging less than a week after he was walking around

Finished my Rockingham Co. DIY Euro mount that I got last week other than deciding on a pedestal or Wall hanger that I also make myself.

Yesterday, I Also dropped by my Taxidermist to check on my 8 pointer from last (2011) Muzzle loader season and it's coming along. I haven't pressured him because he is a Dad to 2 children and works a Full time Job also. I definitely did NOT want a Liquid Tan mount so I told him I wasn't in no Hurry since he mounted it for Free after I Built him some work stands for his shop, Hooked his Heater Up, Made him a Hide stretcher ETC...He's a Good friend of mine and I can't wait to see my mount after he paints it without the cotton in it's nose lol. I often wonder what My daughter will do with this stuff when I'm on the other side of the soil lol

Sorry for chessy Cell Phone Pictures

Im assuming because you got it done so fast GT that you boiled it, if so how long did it take to boil. Looks great.

It doesn't take long Outdoor Life...The more you cut off the faster it is...I bring it to a Boil then back off to a good simmer and after about 2 hours, Most will fall off the Bone like chicken lol then a quick blast with at the car-wash and soak about a day in Peroxide and water till desired white...I was just telling 'Stillhunter' that anyone that has cleaned a Wild turkey or a gut shot Deer shouldn't have a problem doing this project...I love the euros
