Just Looked At The Rut Map. The Rut Phase for Western N.C IS At Pre Rut, Central N.C IS At Seeking And Chasing, and In The North Eastern N.C IS At Peak Rut. Good Luck To All!! Im Only on PC Now Because Ive got no Gas $$ To Hunt Today, cant go til tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. Chad. You always need that re-assurance it's not passing you by. I've seen most experts agree that central NC peaks around 2nd week of Nov. and others say the third week. Of course every herd's dynamic is diff. and you have to believe the actual peak prob. has alot to do with the timing of when that 1st hot doe starts smellin sexy. Yeah, I called a deer sexy - my wife makes fun of me all the time! She's a city girl. We have alot of fun with it.

@ Fairchase, Your WELCOME MY Friend!! Yea Some times I Get A Weird Feeling Like Ive Missed The Rut Somehow lol. Not Sure Why. The Rut Map That I Look At Seems To Be Pretty Spot On Every Year. The Eastern County Deer Seem To Rut About A Half Week To Aweek Before Us (Central n.c) Guess It Has To Do With The Way The Sun Rises lol, heck i dont know. Ive seen Alot of Sexy Deer, lol im not ashamed. im not married no GF NO Kids although wish i had 2 Kids, but im to old for Kids now, Plus i spend 1,000's of $$ a year Hunting, so i couldnt provide for them, only they would eat good lol. Bank Was Closed today, but tomorrow im like you, it's all day hunts from now on for awhile. i think i'll save my two tags for Bucks. Have fun With The Kids!!
