got off work early on friday and decided to go get up a tree for a few hours. i went to a random ridge i found turkey hunting and slipped up a tree around 1030am. after spraying a couple shots of a buck bomb out and hitting the bleat can followed by some tending grunts this nice 8 slipped down the ridge and crossed the creek at 40yds. i put the cross hairs right at the base of his neck and squeezed. he ran only 30 yds and piled up. cant complain for 45 minutes in the tree stand and hunting in blue jeans and my work boots! it was an exciting hunt.
