A HUGE African Pompano came to the docks recently at Seven Seas Seafood in Murrell's Inlet. Michael Broach of Fishizzle Tackle reports that since it was caught on a commercial boat it would not qualify for a state record. It was already gutted when it was weighed in at 38-pounds.
