  • Lake Norman bass are hitting on the points

Bass anglers are reporting numbers of bass being caught on the main lake points and secondary points of Lake Norman.

With the water temperatures starting to fall and the lake level doing the same, the bass are becoming very active on the points that give them access to deeper water.

Jerkbaits fished in 4 to 20 feet of water are accounting for good numbers of bass on the points, especially points that have docks associated with them.

Rocky and Stumpy Creeks are among the top producers with a surface temperature around 67 degrees and clear water with a nice green tint.

As the weather cools, expect the fishing to get hotter!
