The North Carolina divisions of the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail will be headed to Charleston, West Virginia to take on the Kanawha River for the Eastern Regional tournament.

The top 20 teams from each of the four divisions in NC have been invited to compete in the Eastern Regional for a chance to qualify to compete in the National Tournament scheduled for Lake Guntersville in Alabama.

The NC teams will compete against other top teams from the states of WV, VA, MD, DE, PA, NY and NJ and there are estimated to be between 150 and 200 teams competing.

The Kanawha River is a tributary that feeds into the Ohio River and is home to largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass, as well as a number of other species that are likely to take the anglerís offerings.
